Are Waterman fountain pens worth the money?

I love fountain pens but do Waterman fountain pens write smooth enough to make them worth the price they pull down?|||I haven't used a fountain pen in years, but when I did Waterman was my pen of choice. Take a look at the Phil茅as. It's relatively inexpensive, but I found it to be a much better pen than other brands costing two or three times as much.|||I dont use fountain pens myself, but any pen that cost more than $1.50 can only be used to try and impress somebody. That's ok if you are a high ranking official in your company, but if you are just one of the "little people" stick to Bic.
