I have flushed it out with water a lot and not as much ink is coming out of it as there used to be and I can hear the contact with the paper as I write. It is a Waterman and cost about 拢30 6 years ago.|||Leave it soaking in cold water overnight.
Then use a paper towel the next morning to COMPLETELY dry it out.
If it's still not working, drop an email to Waterman, explaining.
They're very good and may well offer a replacement or to service it for you.
Their email contacts are available in the link below - just select your country.
Happy to help!

http://www.Business-support.co.uk|||buy new one is better|||Sounds like you still have water in it. When you rinse it out, make sure you give it a good flick to remove the excess water - mind you don't strike the nib on anything as you do this and mind where the inky water might splash - might be best to shake it outside.
Replace the ink cartridge and give it a gentle squeeze to establish the ink flow. I used to pulse the nib firmly on the paper to open the inkway - it is all about capillary action if you do science stuff. Another thing I did was to stroke down the join in the nib with a wet finger to get the ink flowing. Then write normally and you should slowly get rid of the last water and be back in ink heaven again.
