Denis Waterman made a film about the miners of West Auckland winning the world cup is it based on a fact|||yes it is true they beat switzerland and italy in around 1909 to 1911 to win the very first world cup|||no that is not true|||i think it was just the trophy .and not the title.|||this is indeed a fact

They also won it again a couple of years later although this was not deemed official
