Hmm interesting. I have wondered that, cant wait to see some of the answers on here, surely someone knows.|||It is because he thinks of himself that way. You can also notice that his size varies (in comparison to other objects).
Or maybe it is just because he wants to write and sing all the theme tunes ;-)|||It's a joke.|||It was just a random suggestion David Walliams made once when they were writting sketches and they both thought it would be funny because it is random. There's no real reason behind it other than that.|||I don't think there is any real reason for it, I think they just wanted to do something with Dennis Waterman and it evolved from there. Wikipedia says the following "He has been caricatured by David Walliams in the radio and TV comedy series Little Britain, in sketches where he visits his agent (played by Matt Lucas) looking for parts. Most of the jokes in these sketches are about Waterman being a midget, but the real Dennis Waterman is in fact 5'9. The caricature is offered but always declines respectable parts because he is not allowed to star in, or "write da feem toon, sing da feem toon" of, the particular production. In November 2006, Waterman made a guest appearance in a Little Britain stage show, alongside the comedy character version of himself"
